On New Zealand's South Island, I came to a remote village that only had six people living in it. I had a conversation this charming villager, and I asked him why he lived there, in such a small place. He explained, "In a place like this, all of us count. We're important to each other's well-being. Whether we like each other or not." He continued, "I don't want to live in the cities, because there, people treat each other like they're disposable."
